Biography
After completing studies in piano, solo singing, and music theory at the "Stanković" Music School, he graduated in Dramaturgy under Siniša Kovačević at the Academy of Arts in Belgrade, followed by a master's degree in Directing under Nikita Milivojević at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies at the University of Arts in Belgrade.
In December 2011, together with twenty successful young artists, he founded the organization "Kulturni element," with which he has undertaken nearly a hundred cultural and humanitarian activities to date. Since 2016, he has been the director of the "Lazar Jovanović" International opera competition, the largest opera competition in Serbia. Since 2019, he has worked as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts in Belgrade, where he also served as the Head of the Drama Department, and since 2023, he also teaches at the Belgrade Dance Institute. He is the author of the television series "Prva tarifa" (The First Fare), which premiered on Prva Televizija.
During the first fifteen years of his career, he worked at the Madlenianum Opera and Theatre, where, in addition to directing, assistant directing, and dramaturgy, he also performed numerous solo and choral roles in operas and musicals. He was the president of the jury at several literary events and theater festivals. He was a member of the presidency of Mensa Serbia, where he also served as the editor-in-chief of the magazine "MozaIQ" for eight years. Additionally, for years, he held the same position of editor-in-chief at the Festival of monodrama and mime, as well as the Novi Tvrđava Teatar festival, and worked as a troupe leader for the BITEF festival for five years. He is the founder of the Kulturni Institut (Cultural institute) artistic educational center.
He actively gives lectures and seminars throughout the country. He has realized over thirty operas, plays, and projects. He pursued professional development in Monaco at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo and in Nagoya, Japan.
